Cross-company user access
To work across different organizations, markets, or clients, you will need to access different companies in the InfoSum platform. Each company manages its own resources: data sources, Datasets, Collaborations, Destinations, etc
A user (identified by their email address) can belong to multiple companies. This article will explain how to request access to multiple companies, how to identify and change between company views, and what security the requirements are.

Requesting access to a new company
If you require access to a new company please contact your InfoSum representative to request the access.
Provide the below details:
- Your full name and email address associated with your InfoSum account
- The exact name of the company you need to be added to
- The type of role you will need at that company
- The reason for needing access to that specific company
Our support team might reach out to confirm details if you are requesting access to an account that is not under the same name as your email domain or if you need to enable further security measures (see below).
You will use the same log in for all companies that you have access to.
Roles and companies
Companies in the InfoSum platform are independent of each other, and therefore your user roles and rights will be independent.
Please ensure you give our support team the full information requested so the correct role can be assigned to you. You can review our standard roles in this article.
Identifying your current company view
Once you log in, you will see the company name of the company that is currently active on a "pill" display in the top right corner of the platform. If your company name is very long, it might show truncated with an ellipsis, you can hover over with your mouse to see the full name.
Steps to switch company views
Switching companies is easy. Simply click on the pill showing the company name and that will take you to the account management section, where you will see all the companies that you are a part of.
Click on a different company to switch environments and you will be redirected to the platform with your selected company as the active one.
Cross-company security requirements
You will need to have two factor authentication (2FA) enabled and active (must have logged in at least once with 2FA) to exist across different companies. This article explains how to enable it.
You do not need to enable it, but SSO is supported.
