Only the InfoSum support team can create new users on the platform.Clients wishing to add or remove a user will need to fill in this form if they are being onboarded to the platform for the first time or contact their InfoSum representative to create additional users. Company accounts overview
Company accounts enable datasets created within a company to be owned and shared by the company with its users. Once you have submitted our onboarding form, the InfoSum support team will promptly create a company account for you. Company accounts allow for control over user actions on datasets, which can be configured by users with the appropriate permissions. By specifying an email domain via this form, users with that domain are automatically added to the company.
Each company has at least one "Owner" who manages the account, and multiple owners are allowed. The system includes a default "Owner" role with full rights and an "All Users" team containing all company users. These default roles cannot be modified or deleted. A user inherits rights based on the roles assigned to them by the owner of the company account or by the InfoSum support team.
Role templates
InfoSum typically defines the following distinct roles with specific rights, which will be configured according to the details outlined in this form for each company account:
- Owner: Each company account must have one Owner to manage the whole account. The Owner will have all rights available to them.
- Admin: This stakeholder will be in charge of creating teams, allocating roles, and managing access and permissions overall.
- Technical User: These users will have access to your bunker interface in order to upload and automate refreshing your dataset(s).
- Business User: These users will have access to the collaboration platform but not the bunker. They will be able to accept and grant permissions as well as to run queries across datasets in the UI.

User rights
This is a user’s right to perform an action on behalf of your company. A user inherits rights from the roles they have been assigned. Rights cannot be assigned directly to a user.
A company user sees only those parts of InfoSum Platform to which they have been given rights, as shown in the table below.

There is no Dataset-Create right as this is covered by the Bunker-Create right. The Datasets-List company datasets outside the user's teams right lists all datasets in the company - without it you see only your teams' datasets. The Assign datasets to teams right does not give you access to a dataset, it only lets you assign it to a team. To access a dataset, you must be added to a team with access rights to the dataset. |
