A role is a named collection of rights.

A user can be assigned multiple roles and the rights are additive. This means that your effective permissions are the sum of your role assignments. Roles are created by users in a company with the appropriate rights.

Note: Roles are defined at company level, not team level. Every company is given a base role called “Owner” that automatically inherits all rights and cannot be modified or deleted.
