A path override is a type of query metadata, which instructs InfoSum Platform to use a particular path when executing the query.
Using a path override, you can override InfoSum Platform's automatic choice of path and keys.
For example, you might have a pair of datasets with two possible keys: one containing relatively out-of-date data, and one containing data that is known to be current. Normally, InfoSum Platform will select the key with the higher key fill rate. Using a path override, you can tell InfoSum Platform to use the more current key, even if its fill rate is lower.
