Owner (dataset)

The owner of a dataset is the user who created it.

In practical terms, this will almost always be the person or organisation with rights to the original data.

Only the owner of a dataset can access its Bunker, so only the owner can see the original data. (Even the owner cannot see the original data after it has been normalised.)

The owner can allow other users to query the dataset by granting them a permission.

The owner is responsible for paying any fees associated with the dataset, and receives an allocation of query credits. They may choose to share these credits with (or sell them to) the recipients of permissions.
