Defining a Google Cloud Storage ICC connector
The Google Cloud Storage ICC connector enables you to directly import a dataset from a Google Cloud Storage bucket.
It can be used to import delimiter-separated value files to a Cloud Vault.
Before starting, you will need the following to hand:
- Service account credential file
- Bucket
- File names and paths
You will need to do the following:
- Obtain a service account credential file: From the Google Management Interface, generate the key file for the service account. This is a JSON file for a service user that allows InfoSum to access your Google Cloud Storage bucket. You do not need to amend this file in any way.
- Set file permissions: Give read access to the data files in the Google Cloud Storage bucket you intend to download to InfoSum Bunker. If your files sit in a subfolder, you may need to give explicit permission to read files from that subfolder.

Complete the form as follows:
- Credentials (json): Copy and paste the credentials JSON file text into here
- Bucket: Specify the bucket name (no leading GCS identifier, i.e. "bucket-name" not "GCS://bucket-name")
- Prefix: Optionally add an extra path in this box [SubFolder/NextFolder/]. We recommend you that you always enter a prefix.
Once you have entered the GCS credentials, continue the steps in creating an Import Connector Config.
