Defining an Amazon S3 Access-Keys ICC connector
The Amazon S3 Access-Keys ICC connector enables you to directly import a dataset from an Amazon S3 bucket using access key authentication.
It can be used to import delimiter-separated value files to a Cloud Vault, such as data exported from AWS Redshift.
Before starting, you will need the following information to hand:
- Access key ID
- Secret access key
- Session token
- Bucket
- File paths and names
Complete the form as follows:
- Access Key ID: Customer needs to authenticate using their AWS credentials.
- Secret Access Key: Customer needs to authenticate using their AWS credentials.
- Session token: Customers should include a session token from their AWS account.
- Bucket: Specify the bucket name (no leading s3 identifier, i.e. "bucket-name" not "s3://bucket-name")
- Prefix: Optionally add an extra path in this box [SubFolder/NextFolder/]. Only enter a prefix if you want to limit the files that can be imported to those with that prefix.
Once you have entered the S3 Access-Keys credentials, continue the steps in creating an Import Connector Config.
