Using the Category Wizard
Use the Category Wizard to bulk map imported data to the Global Schema after you've imported a dataset and reached the Normalize phase.
If there isn’t a relevant category available, you can create a custom category. You will find the Category Wizard in List view under Normalize.
Click Category Wizard.
The categories tab matches categories to the Global Schema. Where the match is correct, e.g. e-mail to Email, accept the import wizard settings, otherwise unselect so the mapping can be corrected by assigning columns to a category.
Optionally, you can select any columns to be defined as custom categories. If the column used for the custom category is an identifier, such as a Customer ID, you will need to select 'KEY' for it to match keys across datasets. When adding a custom category that contains PII (Personal Identifiable Information), this category must always be normalized as a key, which prevents the raw data from being exposed during analysis. This can be done in the category wizard by activating the ‘KEY’ toggle or in the assign category modal by activating the ‘Is Key?’ toggle.
You can use the Filter field to refine the custom categories that appear and tick the Column heading to select or deselect all custom categories.
Click Accept Wizard Settings to save your changes.
