Connections List
When you have permission to reference two datasets, we say they are connected.
Two datasets are connected in any of the following scenarios:
- If you own both datasets. These datasets are automatically connected because you always have permission to reference your own data.
- If you own one of the datasets, and have a permission to reference the other. You'll see that permission on the Permissions Received tab.
- If both datasets belong to other parties, and you have a permission to reference them in combination with others that you have permission to use. Again, you'll see both those permissions on the Permissions Received tab.
On the Connections List tab in InfoSum Platform, you'll see all the datasets you are able to reference, and all the connections between them. You can use this information to visualize the possible combinations of datasets for your query.
You can explore this further by selecting a row. An additional settings box will appear, which opens on the Details tab. This tab shows the overlap of the selected pair of datasets for the InfoSum Platform automatic key choice based on highest fill rate.
