A mapping is a tool available inside the Bunker web UI, which helps match your original data to InfoSum's Global Schema.

Mappings are suitable when a column contains one of a number of specific values.

For example, your original data might use the words Man, Woman and Other to indicate a person's gender. The equivalent values in the Global Schema are Male, Female and Other. You can set up a mapping to convert these values using a simple web-based UI. For details, see set up category mappings.

For more complex conversions, you will need to use a transformation instead.
