Step 2: Configure the TikTok Destination in the Platform
Prerequisites
From within the InfoSum platform, you can push your data to your TikTok account (destination).
The standard setup enables InfoSum to manage audiences for your TikTok account.
You must have a TikTok For Business Account. If you don’t have one, you can register here.
Important note |
Currently, only one TikTok account can be linked with your Company’s InfoSum account. |
Activation Keys
Before you create a TikTok destination, you need to authorize the InfoSum app to interact with your TikTok account. To do so, it is mandatory to set one or more of the below keys when setting up your activation query:
- MAID (raw or hashed) - IDFA or AAID/GAID
- Email (raw or hashed)
- Phone (raw or hashed) - E.164 international format. E.g., +14155552671. Maximum 15 digits with no spaces
Steps to Authorize InfoSum to Export Data to Your TikTok account (OAuth2.0)
You need to do this only once when creating a TikTok destination in the InfoSum platform for the first time.
- Go to Activate>Destinations>click Authorizations
- Authorisations page will open. Select TikTok from the list of Providers given. Click Authorise
3. A pop up box will appear as the App Authorisation page for TikTok. Click Confirm
- You will be returned to the Authorisations page and the status against TikTok will now show as Authenticated
Steps to Configure TikTok Destination in the InfoSum Platform
You can now create the TikTok destination and configure the setup.
- Go to Activate>Activations
- On the Activations page, select TikTok and scroll down to Export Configurations. Click Create New Destination
- On the Destinations page, select TikTok and give it a name. Click Next
- You need to now configure the TikTok destination you just created

If you are creating a new audience, follow the field conditions. If you are appending or replacing an audience, then the name should be of your existing TikTok Audience.

- All the fields are editable/non-editable at the time of export. Choose your option with the toggle
Please note that any fields that you make editable at push time will be editable by companies that you share the destination with.

Activating Data to TikTok
You can activate results to a Destination using either Segment Builder or the Query Tool.
1. Navigate to Activations & select your activation
Once you’ve created the activation query, go to the Activation tab under Activate, where you will see each of the activation queries that have been run in your account. Please ensure you are in the correct Collaboration view at the top for the Activation you're looking for. Your latest one will be at the top, but you can search by Activation name or use filters to manage this list.
You will see a modal providing more details on the Activation you have selected, such as the query used and the name of the output column. There are three menu tabs within this box - Details, Stats, and Export History. Once you've pushed the results, the details and status will be viewable under the Export History tab.
2. Select your destination
Click on the Export blue button to configure your export. This will open a pop up asking you to select which Destination it should be sent to. You will be able to see all the Destinations that your company owns or has permission to use.
3. Configure the export
When you select the correct Destination, the pop up will show additional options, including column mapping if required and optional fields.
4. Click Export to Destination to initiate the activation.
TikTok Limitations
Audiences Limit: maximum 400 audiences for an advertiser account. If you run a lot of TikTok campaigns, you might have hit that limit and need to delete some audiences
Time for TikTok Process: newly created audiences require at most 48 hours to be analyzed and processed before they become active
