Welcome to InfoSum Platform!
At InfoSum, we’re bridging the trust gap in today’s data ecosystem. Our Platform provides private, secure and controlled environments in which organisations can safely collaborate with data. It converges the capabilities of complex data integration and science projects, with the affordability, ease of use and flexibility of SaaS.
Using InfoSum Platform, you can:
- Onboard and standardise first-party data
- Match individuals in different datasets
- Filter audiences using attribute criteria
- Reference enrichment data sources
- Visualise and activate query results
You and your team can build and query a bespoke knowledge graph within minutes. Our federated architecture and permissions systems enables you to interconnect your data while keeping it safe and secure. As data remains distributed at all times, you can work with others to include external sources, without being able to access the underlying data or commingling the sources.
In this guide, we’ll walk through how to navigate the Platform.
The InfoSum Platform
InfoSum has developed the core technology that powers our Platform. This technology allows the intersections to be identified between multiple datasets and queries to be run across these datasets, allowing you to derive analytical insights from the combined data. Fundamentally, this is done without needing to move any of the original data.
The InfoSum Platform comprises several components:
The Platform is an interface which allows you to see the datasets you have uploaded as well as the datasets belonging to other users who have sent permissions to you. Within the Platform, you are able to manage permissions for your datasets, and see summary statistical information about the datasets, including intersection information between datasets.
Each dataset in the Platform resides in its own server, known as a Bunker. A Bunker can be created or accessed via the Platform, and this is where new datasets may be uploaded or refreshed. The Bunker is also where data is normalised. The Platform contains two types of Bunker:
- Insight Bunkers – these are only used for querying data to produce aggregate, statistical results which are anonymous.
- Identity Bunkers – these Bunkers can receive a query and output a list of individual IDs.
The Platform contains a Query Tool which provides a simple interface for running distributed queries on datasets within. Queries are written in InfoSum’s proprietary query language, the Insight Query Language (IQL). The Platform also contains a Segment Builder which provides a web-based UI alternative to building queries.
Any statistical results can be displayed visually within the tool itself or exported in raw JSON for visualisation within another charting tool. Results from an identity query can be downloaded or copied.
We have a range of connectors and integrations with popular third party tools and services. These include database connectors and integrations with visualisation tools. We have a flexible framework in place to quickly connect to additional services if required.
All the key features of the Platform can be accessed programmatically via our API, and integrated into your own or a third party’s application.
This site provides a rich library of concepts, tutorials and reference material. You can use the search bar or the menu to explore the content. To get started with importing a dataset, please see our quick start guides here:
