Datasets can be grouped together in what we call projects. A project is a user scoped label associated with a number of datasets that a user has permission to use. This includes the datasets owned by you and those from an incoming permission, such as those granted by a colleague. Each dataset can be included in multiple projects at the same time.
Projects are always created, managed and deleted using Dataset Manager. When creating a dataset, you will be given the option to create a new project and automatically assign it to the dataset. You can also create a new project in the same way by editing an existing dataset.
You can also filter the Dataset Manager by project, so you will only see the datasets associated with that project in all the Datasets, Connections and Permissions tabs.
